Halloween is almost one of the world’s oldest holidays. Halloween goes back to almost 5b.c. that’s a long time. Halloween was created from the land of Ireland because they believe that spirits came up from the dead to mingle with them or to scare them. People back then would wear masks to scare off the bad spirits and would put food outside their door to welcome the good ones into their home. There has been a lot of traditions added throughout all the years Halloween has been celebrated there is way too many to name everybody does Halloween different. Trick or treating comes from the middle ages where. Pumpkins came from Ireland because they would carve them and put it outside their door to keep the bad spirits away from the home. Halloween was brought to the United States because it was celebrated all over and people would come to the United States and bring their traditions with them. You can do many things on Halloween everybody is different you can give out candy to little children you can decorate your house your backyard or front yard with many things you can even carve pumpkins there is so much to do on Halloween and you can do anything you want to do.

In the catholic church they celebrate all Hallowmas in the church it is much different you celebrate all the catholic people who have done good things throughout the years and you give offering s to them as a gift of apperception towards them in what they have done in their life time this is a high honor in the catholic church. Other phobias for Halloween are wiccaphobia (fear of witches) phasmophobia (fear of ghosts), and coimetrophobia (fear of cemeteries). On Halloween we eat so much candy around this month because it’s the most popular time to eat candy because of trick or treating we consume 20 million pounds of candy corn a year. And it can go higher every year it has before. And usually when you ate some candy and you still have a lot left 90% of the time the parents are the thief so hold on to your candy bags and don’t let them out of your sight, unless you want it to be gone.
